Two Beaches and One Swap Meet

Today was a long day, going to two beaches, one swap meet, and all the driving or walking in between.  The first beach we went to was Waikiki Beach.  My dad rented a surfboard and taught  all of my siblings and I  how to surf.  Jackie,Owen, and Maddie all stood up during a wave, I on the other hand, I was no were near standing up.  I was on the front laying down holding on to the board. This made it easy for my dad to catch a wave. The reason I didn’t want to stand up is because there were rocks shallow enough for my dad to touch the bottom.  I didn’t want to get scratched up or get hurt. Though I did have fun and the waves pushed us super hard. We really fast.

Next stop, the swap meet.  The swap meet happens every Wednesday, Monday, and Saturday.  At the swap meet we each got 10$ to spend at the swap meet.  We all got a shirt except mom, she got a hat. The shirts had a really good deal, 7shirts for 20$, 3 shirts for 10$, 1 shirt for 4$.  But we wanted to do four shirts for 15$ which is less than buying four shirts for 4$ each by 1$, but they wouldn’t let us. I ended up getting poi balls for 4$. The shirts we all pitched in some of our money which left me with 2$.  I had sen pineapple necklaces for $oo.25. I wanted to get one for my cousin and I.  We kind of looked on the way back to the car but didn’t find them.  I really liked what I got and I didn’t realize it but my shirt and poi balls were both purple!

The last beach we went to that day was Lanikai Beach.  Owen dug a deep hole and buried himself in it while Jackie tried to sculpt a mermaid. The mermaids tail looked like a mermaid but the head and body kept falling down, so eventually she decided to give up. This beach was one of the only Beaches I actually snorkeled in.

The day before yesterday we stopped by turtle beach. This beach had a lot of turtles. One turtle was on the sand that had a red rope around 2 yards away from the turtle marking how close to the turtle we could go.  There were also turtles floating around in the waves trying to eat the food on the coral.
