Pearl Harbor

The day we went to Pearl Harbor was an exciting day. We did not wake up super early that morning which was a first. Once ready we jumped into our car and drove to the other side of the island. When we were at the harbor we saw ballistic missals that can be shot out of a ballistic missal submarine, different types of torpedoes, the inside of a submarine, watched a video about what happened at Pearl Harbor, shown the wreckage of the USS Arizona, and looked around at a naval museum. The ballistic missal was huge. When we first saw it we thought it was a old submarine or rocket. The torpedoes were just lined up on the pathway with plaques telling you about it. The inside of a submarine is cramped. The doors are tiny between sections. There was a headphone tour that told us all about the submarine. The men in the torpedo room sleeps on top of the torpedoes! The video was kind of scary. With all the bombing. There was real footage of the bombing. There wasn’t much to see of the Arizona, The dock was under repair so we didn’t get so close. The museum had a lot to see. Thing models of submarines and the bells of the submarine were some of them.
