One Big Happy Day

Today in the beginning I thought I would be able to sleep in because yesterday my family stayed up late at the Polynesian cultural center but, I woke up to my little sister waling about eating, as my parents scheduled the rest of our week.  We later were in our swimsuits on our way to the beach.  Owen my brother found a great place to jump into the water because the rock had different levels, the smallest, medium, and the highest level.  Personally I like the small level best because the higher on the rocks you jumped off of the more your shoes would fall off and salt water would get in your eyes. It is good to have flip flops because the rock had sharp edges.  When you jump in there is only sand under the water, no rocks. The water is deep enough for my dad (6ft) to jump in and not get hurt because of the sand.  Around  a yard away from the deep part the ground is shallow enough for me (4’11)to touch the bottom with my head above the water. Just around the corner of the jumping area there is a very deep pool of water that had fish as big as 1 foot.  We also saw an eel swim into a hole in  the rocks.  In the tides there is some schools of fish and plenty of single fish. The fish were mostly grayish brown and some had yellow stripes.  Soon my mom said we had to leave to go to turtle beach. When we arrived, we saw a turtle that looked very much like a rock. The water waves were wetting only half of the turtle. There were also plenty of  turtles trying to get the food on the rocks but the waves kept crashing them into the rocks. The turtles didn’t seem to mind. After the two beaches we bought shave ice. I got cherry and I really recommend that flavor if you ever get shave ice!
