Today we woke up what would have been early in Hawaii but normal time in Oregon to the smell of sunscreen. Our mother put on a significant amount of sunscreen on us after putting on our swimsuits so we would be ready for Hanama Bay. We arrived early enough to avoid paying parking money, a video, and a daily crowd.
Later while playing a relaxing game of cards we found out that we were sunburned bad. Our mother put twice as much aloe Vera as she would with sunscreen. My skin started to hurt but as my mother put some cold, green, aloe Vera, I no longer hurt. But the pain soon returned after a couple minutes. Now I now know, even if the sun is pretty, it can hurt a lot.
