La Sagrada Familia

The first time we went to the Sagrada Familia, we only saw the outside. We didn’t go in because they were all out of tickets, so my dad made sure to get online tickets for the next day. We woke up at seven o clock which was super early because we were all on Spain time. Everybody eats at eight and goes to bed at nine. But even that is early for most Spaniards! Once we were in line, my younger sisters and I checked out a small model of the church. My dad told me that after the tallest tower gets built, this will be the tallest church in Spain! Inside the church, everything wasn’t super dark, like every other church we have seen. Instead,  there were hundreds of stain glass windows that made the columns different shades of greens, blues, yellows and reds. The builder of this magnificent church is Antoni Gaudí. La Sagrada Familia has been my favorite church we have been to.
