The sand creatures

My family and I  went to the warm beach today and made ourselves into sand creatures. Maddie was a mermaid and I was an octopus with five tentacles.  Mom and Jackie did this by burying somebody’s legs in sand and carving sea animals. We decorated the animals with shells to make the animal stand out for the picture.  I stayed in the sand for awhile until I figured out how to get out without braking the amazing animal.  Mom was giving out yummy snacks, but we were too sandy.  I still brushed off the sand on my hands and mom just put the yummy, creamy, wafer snacks in Maddie’s mouth.  The way I figured out how to get out, was digging under myself, but I still broke a sad tentacle.  Maddie just destroyed her marvelous tail and went out.
