Teeny Tiny Sea Shells

The Cinque Terra are five hills connected by hiking paths and water. There are no cars allowed most of the time there, making the place feel almost like Disney Land, with its beautiful sea, colorful buildings and umbrellas, and everyone walking everywhere. There’s not much beach there, but the rocks and water are beautiful. However, on the small beach we spent time at, in a rocky corner near the elevated sidewalk, are tons of tiny sea shells. Most of them are easily smaller than a fingernail. Maddie and I had a fun time collecting these while we were there, sometimes picking up shells that were so small, they looked like the specks of sand. We also loved jumping off a small cliff into the water, though it was a little cold for swimming, and you had to watch out for the occasional jellyfish. Overall, we spent nearly 12 hours at the beach between the two day we were there, and I enjoyed every minute.
