Days of travel are the best and worst. So many things can go wrong. In our case we made our reservations back in November and I had forgotten when the flight actually was. I had the idea that the flight left at 2:15. Apparently it was changed and I didn’t keep up. We got to the airport thanks to our wonderful chauffeur Ali Starke and the flight had already left. Yikes! After 40 min of wondering our fate we were rebooked in Delta. The dude at checkout was awesome. Score one huge victory for American Airlines. They actually booked us on a better flight! Delta in this case! So instead of PDX->LAX->LHR->FCO its just PDX->AMS->FCO. So great! Now flight time is way less and we get in earlier.
