Okay, well really there’s only one pyramid and it may not be super great compared with others and it’s not even in Egypt but hey! A pyramid is a pyramid no matter how small, so yesterday we loaded into our car and went to see the pyramid. 
It turns out that a Roman emperor was inspired by the ancient Egyptians and decided he needed a pyramid for himself. And of course, he’s the emperor so he can do whatever he wants so he orders that a big pyramid be built for him to be buried in. The pyramid is right in the middle of a big graveyard which is actually a beautiful area. We walked around it for a little bit and saw, among others, the tomb of an English poet. None of the other graves were quite so grand as the Great Roman Pyramid, but there were a few other pretty cool ones, including the typical movie curved arch style.
