Today we climbed up Mt. Vesuvius which still erupts! I thought the volcano might explode while I climbed it! First, we drove up an exceeding amount of winding roads. Next, we took a shuttle up about 1 1/2 kilometers. Then, we hiked up Mt. Vesuvius and looked in the hole of the volcano. The hole had some smoke billowing out but, it wasn’t as much as we hoped to see. Dad, Owen, and I went to see some other sides of the hole while Mom, Jackie, and Maddie stayed on the other side to take a brake. Then we hiked back down and waited until the shuttle arrived. Finally we drove home to our apartment.🐳🐰
