Pompeii

Today we explored Pompeii. At the entrance, we saw the main gate.

Then, we walked in and saw huge stones that are used by pedestrians when they flood the streets to clean the horse poop. The stones are low so that chariot carts can cross over and the wheels can go inbetween.

After, we went to Pompeii’s forum. However, this is not a picture of it; this is a photo of the outside of the grand theater.

Next, we went into the great theater. You can still see the numbers of the seats. Can you spot me running across the seats?.

Finally, we left Pompeii excited to climb Mount Vesuvius the next day.
