Piazza de Popolo
The people’s square was the first entry point ancient people would make into Rome if they were coming from the north. This is a big square and just a bit of a walk from the Spanish steps. When we first walked in we noticed the twin churches ⛪ ⛪ between the large Egyptian Obelisk. The […]

Fun Venice facts
We learned that the acqua alta or high waters happen around 100 times every year in Venice. They have raised wooden platforms placed all through the city to provide elevated walkways when the floods occur. The lagoon just off of St. Mark’s Square looks like a big ocean but is really shallow and you could […]

Buona Pasqua
We missed the Pope on Easter though we did watch a little of the via di cruce on Vatican TV. It all started with waking up to an Easter Egg hunt out on our fun private deck that this place has! Here in Roma we kept seeing these giant eggs everywhere. So the Easter bunny […]

Today I woke up and went to the kitchen and my mom shows me that the Easter bunny actually found out that my family and I went to Italy! The Easter bunny gave us chocolate eggs! We also got huge eggs with toys in them. Also it gave us a smaller egg with a toy […]
